Club History

The Downeast Amateur Astronomy Club had its first meeting on April 5^th. 1997, when Comet Hale-Bop was at its best. The club was started by Charlie Sawyer and Frank Davenport, and continues to hold meetings monthly around the new moon. All meetings are open to the public at no charge.
